I've decided to (re)start a book blog. I say (re)start because this is the latest in a string of book blog attempts, none of which have succeeded. Maybe I lack the motivation or the discipline for it. Maybe I'm just lazy. We'll see.
My plan is to talk about what books I want to read, what books I've just finished, what books I can't stop obsessing over, etc. I'll probably ramble on about other things from time to time, like my hatred of the lack of comfortable chairs in most Borders or how I always seem to lose bookmarks.
Warning: despite my previous efforts, I am still pretty dense when it comes to blogging. I don't know anything about blog protocol, if there is such a thing as blog protocol, and I make no promises about hating/not hating on gadgets and gizmos and all those other contraptions that seem to multiply on web platforms every time I turn my back. I had a livejournal filled with teen angst back in the day but I am now older (slightly) and wiser (ditto the slightly).
To business. A quick list of books I am actively* reading:

*Actively means I have touched the book in the last two weeks. There are also books I am passively reading (ones I have started and fully intend to finish in the vaguely near future), books that I want to read, and the lost books. The lost books drift in an abyss of indifference where the characters intermingle with one another, making polite conversation and shifting awkwardly from foot to foot. They know I meant to finish their stories at one point in time but have now accepted their fate.
